For me, it's more of the principal of thing. I have had the experience of not being able to play games because of internet issues. So I'm empathetic to those who also have terrible internet or just live in a low population area where good internet is impossible to find.

I understand that. What I don't understand is how they think it's a good idea to put what will be an obstacle to some users in their product. You would think they would want to make their product as simple to use as possible.

Maybe I'm just being an asshole about it. But I do not like it.
